later in the same article they talk about how teams levied the opposite complaint against memphis (that they were handing a conference rival a title). i agree with the writer that you can't think about that. if cleveland has the best offer, and you want to get rid of jamison, then do it. maybe they'll do you a solid one day. if teams are upset, they can pay more for jamison. unfortunately, cleveland is one of the few teams with the right asset configurations. i can understand the wiz wishing someone else would step in, but how many teams are willing to give up financial flexibility plus picks/prospects for jamison? 2-3? if that.
